FEEDING DIRECTIONS SENTINEL LIFETIME is a high fat, high fiber, extruded feed containing low starch and sugar ingredients formulated for active junior, adult and senior horses specifically where joint health is a potential concern. SENTINEL LIFETIME is also recommended for certain horses where maintenance of digestive and metabolic health is a challenge - contact your Kent Nutrition Group Sales Representative for specific recommendations. Some good quality hay should be offered to help maintain good digestive function and prevent boredom. DAILY GUIDE: Approximate feed weight to volume: 0.85 lb = 1 quart. It is necessary to adjust the feeding rate of SENTINEL LIFETIME to the condition of the horse. Provide good-quality hay or pasture, free-choice salt, and plenty of fresh water.
We recommend in most cases, you slowly transition your animal when changing to a Kent product or even between Kent products. This allows the animal's digestive tract to properly adjust to the feed. To help with the transition, we recommend slowly mixing the new Blue Seal product in with your current feed and then gradually increase over the course of one-two week to 100% of the new Kent Nutrition Group product.
