This winch rope is a must-have for any serious off-road riders. It's the perfect choice if you want your winch to work more efficiently and desire a safer, stronger alternative to steel wire rope. For use with ATV, UTV and other light-work vehicles. This rope has a higher breaking strength than that of steel cable, but weighs much less. It does not store energy under stress like steel ropes do, making it safer to operate in the event of breakage. It will not rust or kink like steel wire rope. It doesn't recoil or stretch. It won't bind-up or develop any sharp frays - no more cut hands from wire splinters or burrs. Synthetic materials do not conduct electricity or heat, so this rope won't burn your hands in the summer or freeze your hands in winter. The further the winch line is from the center of the drum, the less pulling power the winch will have. Using a soft rope ensures each layer of line is closer to the surface of the drum than a steel wire rope would be. Oftentimes, it can be difficult to make sure the line is spooled on the winch neatly. In turn, the line can bunch up in one area of the drum, allowing the line to contact the winch housing or mounting plate. This can cause damage to the line or the winch itself.
