This was a replacement purchase. My last Gobi vest lasted 6 years of daily wear from spring to fall, I hope this one last that long.

I work night maintenance at an industrial campus in Minnesota. It definitely takes the edge off. That being said, the companies battery life claims are pretty optimistic. My results are good generally as I work 12 hour days. I usually get by on the lowest setting for about six hours per battery. Not bad, though not as good as claimed. But the vest is very comfortable and dare I say, a bit Carhartt inspired. Tough and warm is a good combination for a maintenance guy.

My dad really likes the vest. It keeps him warm when he needs to outside working on windy cold days.
