Don't buy this for hard use!

I'm very sad to say this thing is hot garbage. I had first generation Gerber MultiPlier/Diesel unsure of the exact model but it was ancient and I unfortunately lost it while on a motorcycle ride. I bought the center drive and was wholely disappointed, the tolerances on it are so loose the pliers jaws would even close all the way, meaning you could even grab a zip tie or small wire it would just slip out. I bent the pliers almost .250" while twisting and had to bend them back in the vise. I love the screwdriver and the other tools but the main reason I carry a Gerber is the reliable one hand opening and fantastic pliers and this just isn't that. I generally love Gerber's stuff I have an 06 auto and armbar etc. but they missed the mark on these guys. Just purchased a Leatherman arc well see how it compares :(
