I work as an auto repair tech, and in my my line of work tools mean everything. The guys I work with all use snap on and mac. They are great tools, however i could never really justify the price. And because of this i have experimented with a lot of different tool brands. I came across Gear wrench a few years ago,and have been hooked ever since. The quality of the tools and the fit and finish of the metal is absolutely on the same level as some of the big named tools i spoke of earlier in this review. The 6 point design really digs into the fastener and to me is very confidence inspiring, i never worry about rounding off bolt heads. This set of sockets is my most used set, no matter what i am doing i can always reach in my box with confidence knowing these sockets will get the job done right. I have never broken a single one and they do take heavy use every day!
