Perfect jacket

Shoulders and hood not water resistant.

The blue body of the jacket repelled water perfectly. The grey shoulders and hood on my jacket are not waterproof and wetted through immediately. This jacket is not usable for rain protection without additional waterproofing.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent Wind protection

I recently purchased the RiverTodaz Jacket for hiking. First time out it with the temps were in the low 40's with winds about 7 mph, gusting to 15. The jacket did a great job of blocking the wind but didn't work very well at wicking away any moisture. All I had on under it was 100% poly top and a light fleece, that got soaked.
If it wasn't for the excellent wind protection the hike would've really sucked.
