I bought one plant 3 years ago and have been splitting the plant each year. This year I have 9 plants. They produce very well with large, sweet, mild flavored, golden berries.

Terrible plants

I bought 9 plants of different varieties two months ago. Took them home to plant that same day. Upon opening the packages the roots looked dried out. I planted any way to see what would happen. Nothing they were to far gone. Very disappointed!

Not True to Name

I purchased this bare root DeGroot Fall Gold raspberry plant early in the season last year. It grew and produced fruit in the fall like I had expected, since Fall Gold is a primocane variety. However, the fruit it produced was not Fall Gold with its distinctive gold color but another unknown yellow raspberry variety.

No, I do not recommend this product.

These didn't grow

I'm very sad that these DeGroot gold raspberries did not grow. I purchased in approx April & planted them. It's now June & they didn't grow any whatsoever. I'm very sad because I bought & planted a goji berry tree, asparagus (green & purple), blackberries, etc. The goji berry & the blackberries are growing nicely,but the Gold Raspberries & both the green & purple asparagus didn't grow. I've been a purchaser of DeGroot for a long time & always had success. I thought maybe I just purchased bad plants until I just read the reviews about other people's gold raspberries this year not growing. Hopefully next year things will be better.

Do not waste your money on this!!

I purchased a Nanking Cherry, pink gooseberry, and 2 fall gold raspberries. The cherry and gooseberry were fine, growing fast. The raspberries were both small rootless sticks that I plants and frequently watered, Both sticks still dead. Of course I tossed my receipt and the bulky boxes (I wouldn't have purchased these sticks), so the raspberries are a total loss. If you want to buy one, peek inside the box first if you don't want to be ripped off like me!

The root is dry and dead,I think I wasted my money

Our product is dormant, packaged bare root plants intended to be without foliage (leaves) while in the store. The roots of the plant should be firm and moist while in the package. Dormant plants such as these offer the opportunity to jumpstart spring planting because they can be planted in the ground earlier than potted plants. Depending on the climate and weather experienced after planting, this plant could take up to 6 weeks to break dormancy and show signs of growth.
