Ciprofloxacin Ophthalmic Solution 0.3% is prescribed for the treatment of bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis. It works by inhibiting bacterial growth, thereby effectively treating the infection. This pet eye medication is sold in either 5 mL or 10 mL bottles.How it Works

Ciprofloxacin works by stopping the growth of bacteria.

Special Precautions

Unnecessary use or overuse of any antibiotic can lead to its decreased effectiveness.

Overdose Information

Immediately contact your closest emergency animal hospital or vet.

Side Effects

Allergic reactions may occasionally occur. Treatment should be discontinued if reactions are severe.

Storage

Store below 25°C (77°F).

Tips

This medication only treats bacterial eye infections. It will not work for other types of eye infections.

  • Treats bacterial eye infections in cats, dogs and horses
  • Effective against streptococci, rickettsiae, E. coli and A. aerogenes, such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, pink eye, corneal ulcer and blepharitis
