I enjoy the warmth and water protection. It runs a little big (even for Carhartt) but that allows for layering.

Nice jacket; Fits weird.

Nice jacket, but I was hoping for a longer length. It's just below belt level but up above the pockets. I wanted a jacket that came down below my fingers when my arms are at my side. Fit is somewhat boxed; thought it was more fitted than it was. Nice jacket, but not the fit I wanted. It's not as long as it looks in the picture.

My New Fav

First of all, very comfortable jacket. I saw other comments about the hood and other than having another hoodie under it while driving, it hasn't bothered me all. Second, very warm. It seldom gets sub-zero where I live, usually just single digits, but with a heavy hoodie under and shoveling or snowblowing snow, I was very warm on the coldest days. The rain defender was amazing while snowblowing in the wind, jacket stopped any water. Def. my new favorite.
