I do like the jacket, I even like the zipper,(BUT) the zipper stops at the area of the jacket where the top piece and the bottom pieces are sowed .. I like the pockets inside and outside.. I like the size and fit, yes I know the outer shell is stiff and bulky, but soon with a lot of wear and it will soften up some... I would give the jacket an over all rating of a ( 9 ) .... First jacket arrived with black grease all over it. I checked it out and compared to the Berne coat I bought me and my wife a few years back this one seems light with half the insulation. I would not recommend buying one. Years ago it was just as good as Carthart but now it’s half the price but also half the quality. Guess we got lucky when buying the first two.
