Transmission seems problematic

The engine is strong. I love the electric start. I am having trouble with the speed control though. It seems to be stuck in one gear and I cannot seem to get it to move to other gears. I am going to try adjusting the cable this week and see if that works --otherwise I will have to call YARDMAX tech support

It's so hard to find a decent lawnmower at any price. Corporations are peddling complete garbage. Brand new spent 20 minutes trying to start it and that was my limit. Gave them their shiny garbage back.

This is a very well thought out mower. Easy to operate and runs great. Powerful and easy dump bag was a great feature. The auto drive has settings to move slow or fast depending on your abilities. I would recommend this push mower to all ages and if you get one, you won’t be disappointed. Buy it!!!!!

No safety, mower starts & blade continually turns. Grass never went into the bag. Unless you can walk very fast, it's not for you. One speed only FAST. Therr is a turnbuckle to reduce speed but it was too fast for me. It's heavy and difficult to get around trees & shrubs. Holding the bars to operate was hard and my hands were swollen. It is almost impossible to pull in reverse to mow near shrubs. Its very loud and usedots of gas. I returned it after 11/2 mows. Customer service and Tractor Supply employees were great both on purchase & return.
No, I do not recommend this product.
