The YARDMAX 22 in. 3-in-1 Front Wheel Drive (FWD) Self Propelled Lawn Mower will make cutting your lawn quick and easy with its high performance 201cc OHV YARDMAX engine with automatic choke system for an easy start, no priming or choking required. The high-rear-wheels are perfect for uneven terrain and are equipped with double ball bearings and exclusive aggressive spiked tread rubber tires for an increased traction and maneuverability. Had mower for a year now and would say it has been well worth the money. 201 CC does not bog down in yard and pace of mower is great for whole family to set at the pace they want to mow. Easy start . Wheel are diff design from previous mowers I have, and I would say I prefer this design and they seem to be long lasting and do not wear as much as previous self pulling mowers Ive owned. Mower is a bit heavy when pivoting to make turns, but not excessively so. Would definitely purchase this mower again

Biggest waste of money. The wheel adjustment lever rubs on the rear tire. Plus the adjustment does not work. Mower scraps the ground. Sometimes the wheels will not move have to bang it on the ground to get them moving. DO NOT BUY.

For a large heavy yard, choose....

Wanting to avoid the cost and maintenance of a riding mower, I recently purchased this machine well into the spring season. Yard grass was peak 12 to 14 inches tall. Big country yard, keep that in mind. This monster machine tore through it all in roughly 4 hours. It took almost gallon of gas, which is expected for the workload of heavy cutting. I highly recommend if your yard is sizeable. This pushmower is worth the cost to your wallet.

Nice Lawn mower, but very heavy

The lawn mower assembled very easy. The forward speed is quite quick, even on the slowest setting. But not so much that I can't keep up. It starts very easy, but you must hold down the upper arm at all times or the lawn mower shuts off. Not convenient if you have to move a stick. You hold in the lower arm to make it self propel. After 15 or 20 minutes of holding both arms in together while maneuvering the lawn mower, your hands get tired. But you can't give them a rest because the lawn mower will shut off. It is a very heavy and well built mower. I would not buy it again only because of the weight and having to hold the arm in at all times to keep it running. I wish it didn't have this feature, kind of like forcing all bicycle riders to wear that stupid looking helmet to just ride around their neighborhood. We are not children, we can handle a lawn mower without such a unnecessary safety feature.

self propel failed after 1 season

after 1 season, the self propel deck completely quit. gears stripped. wont move. Do not recommend Yard Max
