The heavy duty 457cc 4-Stroke OHV Westinghouse Engine is constructed of a durable cast iron sleeve and runs for up to 12 hours on a 6.6 gallon (25 L) gas tank, keeping you powered through the day with built-in fuel gauge, automatic low oil shutdown, and GFCI outlets. Push-Button Electric Start makes starting the WGen9500DFc effortless while the remote start key fob offers added ease from a distance. Q: What transfer switch do I need for 12500 generator
2 years ago- A: You can use either a 30A manual transfer switch or a 50A manual transfer switch for Westinghouse WGen9500 series portable generators. A 30A manual transfer switch (using the L14-30R plug on the generator) will allow you to pull 7200 watts (240V x 30A = 7200 watts) from the unit. A 50A manual transfer switch (using the 14-50R plug on the generator) will allow you to pull the full rated 9500w of the unit (240V x 50A = 12000 watts).
