- A: Hi, Here is the information we received back from the vendor- "Our oil is a very good engine oil however it is not a compressor oil. I would suggest you buy an oil specifically sold for air compressors. Unless you are talking about the engine crankcase oil that drives an air compressor. - A: This oil is already very balanced with anti-wear, detergent/dispersant and antioxidant additives so we’d suggest refraining from using oil additives as they’re simply going to throw off those levels of additive and really no additional properties are required for this product’s named use applications.4 years agoHelpful?

Great engine oil

I bought this service the riding mower for this year’s grass cutting season. Significantly less oil consumption vs. factory Briggs synthetic oil and even Amsoil small engine oil. I’ve tried them all now and the VP oil seems to be the best.
