Trumpet vine (Campsis Radicans), also known as trumpet Creeper or hummingbird vine, is a fast and high climbing perennial vine that is very easy to grow. Its deciduous woody vine is known for showy, trumpet-shaped flowers (3-1/2 inches long) that attracts much wildlife to the garden. Birds sometimes nest in the dense foliage. It inhabits woodlands and riverbanks and is also a popular garden subject.
It tolerates deer, drought, and clay soils
The foliage grows well in the shade, but the plants need good sun for best flowering
