Just what the job needed

I got this small push mower to be able to get to places i cant reach with the 30" turf master. I can easily lift over flowerbeds to get to spots to mow. Its very light and easy to maneuver on hills. Its just the machine i needed for the job i needed it to do. The cut like all toro machines i have is the best and thats why i use them. Starts right up every time i use it and i find changing the oil very easy with a small pump you put on a qt bottle. I haven't used it to mulch yet but i will and it will function as desired im sure. Thank you for the awesome products, toro always delivers.

The Toro Recycler is a good mower. Not sure why there are some negative reviews. I mowed over grass that was grown over 3 weeks on the 2nd to lowest notch and the mower never bogged down and barely left any clumps. Make sure when you adjust the deck height you pay attention if the deck is going lower or higher. You pull the rear wheel lever towards the back to lower and the front wheel lever you push to the front to lower. I currently use a craftsman m110, a Troy Bilt TB160, and now this Toro and the Toro seems to out perform the other mowers and the handle design is way more durable. I have not used the bagger to comment on how it works but when I use it I will right another review.

Mower appears to perform as expected. It was purchased to replace a fourteen year old mower. Not pleased with the unexpected cost for the so called "Free Side discharge" unit, which once received all the charges paid were more than the unit cost. It's a lawnmower, it cuts grass!

Not super impressed. It absolutely will not mulch as is. Thankfully when I registered the mower, they sent the discharge chute. That made it much more tolerable to mow with. The deck paint was not of any decent quality. 2 mows in and nearly all the paint under the deck has peeled off. It’s going to be hard to keep it from rusting quickly unless I repaint it. I do not leave grass in there either. I spray it out with the hose after every use.

Nice for what I do with it. I just trim around the house and garage so I don’t have to get so close with the zero turn. Pushes easy. Starts first pull as stated. I took the bag off for what little I use it for. It’s a push mower, does as intended.

Overall a great mower. Cuts well and even cuts tall grass well. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bagging system is a little cheep. The bag is flimsy and doesn't hold much. It also doesn't seal to the mower well and leaks grass clippings in spots.

Grass and leaves are not being picked up into the bag and are blowing out in front of the mower. Bag is on properly, chute is not clogged, and I have adjusted the wheels to every level. This lawnmower just makes a mess!

Nice mower, but fails at taller grass

Purchased this to replace a older, dying craftsman mower. First time using it, the mowing was great. I generally have shorter grass in Texas, so it not an issue. However, during our rainy season, the grass will choke out the mower. Ankle high grass or taller is a death nail. Since this does not have a discharge on it, the mulching just builds up, binds, and stops the mower. I did bag the yard once, but after 14 bags in only a quarter of my back yard, it was too much. Would like to have a rear discharge chute for this model, would make it easier. When the grass isn't too much, this mower to great, but when you have to deal with more than a few inches deep, its not going to make it.

Decent mower but could be better.

Having to completely remove and reinstall the carriage bolts and knobs to fold/unfold the handle is beyond annoying. Definitely a step backwards in production design for Toro. Otherwise it's a decent mower.
