Strong mower

Let me tell you this equipment can cut down some tall thick bush. I had almost 4 feet tall brush to cut through and this machine had no problems. I'll admit I had to go slow over some areas because it was very dense but once I went made the first pass the second pass was no problem.

Bought this mower thinking that a Toro would be the best choice as they have been a long standing manufacturer that’s still in the USA. Couldn’t have been more wrong in my life. Brought this mower home, admired it for a couple of days, then decided it was time to get it dirty and mow my lawn for the first time with it. Didn’t even make it around my yard and the right control lever broke loose from the control rods and I couldn’t stop the mower until it got stuck in the ditch along the road. Never expected the first dirt on the mower being from towing it out and back to the garage. After inspection and determining the cause to be poor quality design (weak materials used and flimsy attachment), I was glad that I could return it for a full refund at the Tractor Supply Store where I purchased it from. This was the first and it will be the last Toro I purchase. I am very thankful to the store manager for the way he handled my issue and I am very happy with the replacement mower that the manager suggested (different brand) as well.

I bought the new timecutter max about a month ago and so far it’s been great. If I had any complaints about it I would say that I’m disappointed that it doesn’t come from the factory with an hour meter and a fuel gauge.
The Kawasaki owners manual specification states that the first oil change is the be done at 8 hours, but there is no hour meter on the dash. The fuel tank is see through but you can’t really see the fuel level at all so I have over filled it a few times. Wish there was a fuel meter or even a sight window/tube/ meter

Runs fine now but required warranty servicing due to incorrect drive belt tension spring, needed to be replaced after throwing it three times and cutting up drive belt, fine now, though started out fairly bad.

I purchased two of the exact same model 54in toro mowers and both after about 35 minutes run time the left lever just went dead, it would not do anything, the mower had to sit for about 30 minutes to cool off before the left side start ed pulling again. Both mowers had the exact same issue.
This is a very serious issue and the price is too high buying a new mower with these types of issues.

Tried for months to get a operator manual. was told 8 to 12 weeks, which I considered a very long time, before I realized that it wasn't enough time. i still haven't received it after 2 plus months. Even after sending a reminder to Toro. Tells me that the company does not care for the products the pedal and just wants my money. Hope you enjoy the money because you will not get anymore.

Frustrated but may just been a bad start.

I purchased new in april mowed with it 4 times aproximately 3 1/2 to 4hrs total on mower about 45 minutes use each cutting session deck belt broke appears to have snaged and gotten cut in half by the razer sharp edge of the belt tension mount due to belt floping due to weak tension.
Also the left rear drive motor started whining and mower barely move. Checked both rear drives both were low on fluid from factory.
Mower is comfortable and cuts nicely.
More time will reveal itself if keeps breaking belts in 6in tall grass its gone. Take the loss and purchase somthing else.

Dead battery

Bought this mower in June 2026 to replace my 2006 Toro Time cutter zero turn. Cuts great and very comfortable ride. Very satisfied so far. The only complaint is I had to add an hour meter. I also wish it would have had rubber floor mats on foot area.

My new zero turn mower

So far so good. We are having a bit of a drought so I haven't used it that much, But I do love the way it handles and rides. My only gripes would be no gas gauge and no milage gauge. The gas gauge would be the most important. It does seem to get better gas mileage than my old zero turn.

Great mower with cheap blades!

I bought this mower in the fall of last year and only used it a couple hours. This year it started to vibrate so I checked the blades. The trailing fin of the blade for the lift was almost completely gone. If you look at the blades you will see they didn't hit anything to speak of on the leading edge, but they are worn out. It's as if the steel wasn't hardened. The mower had less than 10 hours on it. I know it only had 10 hours because I installed an hour meter as soon as I got the mower. Other than the blades, I love the mower. It's a very comfortable ride and is built better than all the others I looked at in its price range.

Excellent machine. Easily can handle our 4 acres with no concerns and quickly. My ride is a game changer. It is ergonomically as comfortable as a recliner chair. The 60 in deck is big and cuts through the grass like butter. Already completed first oil change and it was easy. Big tired allow for easy traction. Definitely a great purchase.

I bought this Time Cutter a month ago. My 1st time using it I noticed a unusual vibration once I engaged the blades. As I raised the throttle there was less vibration. On my second time cutting I noticed a noise vibration on the top portion of the engine. Sounded like the plastic cover over the top of the engine. Quite annoying hearing it while mowing. However, the mower cuts and maneuver very well.

Rides is quite nice for a Zero turn, quality cut. Beware of the location and angle of the fuel filler cap and the ability to clearing view how much fuel is in the machine. There is no site gauge or fuel electric fuel gauge. The manufacturer is attempting to force you into some sort safety can, not exactly certain what that is, guess I’ll have to go through the 100 page booklet that is written in four languages to stream line your supply chain. (Thanks for supporting our paper pulp industry)
Make certain you get the original keys after Tractor Supply drives it on the trailer for you, they must be worth a great deal because they certainly don’t want to mail them to me.
