Lost control

Within a week of purchase I finished mowing and was coming down a very slight grade to the garage and the mower sped up. I pull back on the control levers and it did not slow down until it was in reverse. The second mowing it did the same thing about half way through my less than one acre lawn. It has been at the official Toro service center for over two weeks.

Bad transmission

Used this mower one week and it cut unevenly, and the transmission went bad. It's currently at an authorized dealer bring repaired. I'm very disappointed. I saved up for a year, thinking I would finally have a good mower and that I wouldn't be battling with old mowers to upkeep my property anymore, and I'm already having to deal with repairing major things!

Second time cutting my lawn and i have an internal engine noise , dealer is taking the motor apart now to diagnose it. First brand new mower i decided to purchase and having issues in less then 3 hours run time. Don’t want it back after a rebuild, i purchased brand new.

Mower is great. The My Ride suspension is fantastic. So smooth. I do have an issue with the steering It pulls to the left. Needs an adjustment. They say it’s not covered under warranty. Go figure.

SPRING SEAT

I like this mower because it's fast and maneuvers around tress quick. I does not do a great job in heavy hay grass. The mower blades do not start up smooth - the deck shakes on start up like the blades are out of balance - Dealer tells me this is normal - I think its hard on the bearings. The big problem is how to tell how much gas is in the tank - very easy to over fill - The seat does not lift up to see the tank.

Not working - Disappointed in Toro

I have less than 5 hours. Right side transmission is whining and not working. Found a local authorized repair company and they advised cap was loose and fluid leaked out. Picked up today and in less than 30 minutes right side transmission was whining and stopped working properly. Very disappointed.

We are happy with our new mower. The rear tires have nice tread on them and grip the ground good. This mower not only looks exceptional, it also rides so smooth! It has a gaming-style seat that is super comfortable. It also has a beverage and cell phone holder. The battery is easy to get to and has two water hose connectors to wash under the mower deck. The only con to this purchase is the pack of an hour meter to track the number of hours of mow time. I feel that a $5,000 mower should have this option included instead of having to buy it from Toro.

Good mower after the kinks got worked out

Many units had steering issues as they weren't properly adjusted at the factory. Got that fixed under warranty, and the mower is performing wonderfully. It seems very fuel efficient is comfortable, and can go several hours in a row without issues. Handles bumpy uneven terrain, and long grass just fine, and has plenty of power. It is noisy though...I may try a fully electric model next time.

Issues from the first mowing

Had issues with the mower right after purchasing. It cut off and would not start. Having it serviced at a dealer would have been too many weeks out so paid someone to come repair it. It was a loose wire. Also having another issue that may or may not be covered under warranty. First zero turn Toro mower was great. This one is not. It cuts well but the mechanical is not good.

Took a little time to get used to a zero turn but once you do, you’ll ask why you never made the change sooner. The Kawasaki engine on this model is great! Oil changes and maintenance is simple and everything easily accessible. Lastly, the my ride system is FANTASTIC. Almost as good as mowing in a recliner.
