Mower from the future?

I never thought a mower could be so incredible. It is very light, it cuts right through the thick dense grass, and it looks like it's out of a star wars movie. Who knew a mower could be so exciting.

LUCKY I DIDN'T GET HURT

Bought this mower yesterday 7/27/2021. Took out of box this afternoon. Followed quick use instructions. Went to start mower and OMG it made the loudest noise from a mower I have never heard before. Immediately let go of handle and thought great engine is toast. Checked oil again, it was full. Maybe it was just first use noise of a Toro. Went to start again and holy mother of god this thing is going back. Just my luck as I had a Cub Cadet bite the dust after 1 season. Long story there. So I tilted mower back and low and behold I found the issue. The BOLT for the blade was about to fall out!!!! How did this get missed?? What else got missed? Tomorrow I will look and see what damage was done to the blade and deck and check all other bolts for tightness. I am just glad the blade didn't come flying out!!! May change 1 star to more if mower performs well after I check to make sure its safe to operate!

Great mower overall

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mower to replace a 25 year old Super Recycler. My old mower still works great, but I wanted to get a replacement in case Toro starts phasing out gas mowers. The new mower works great, both bagging and mulching. Plenty of power for thick grass and doesn't leave clumps when mulching. The height adjustment allows for a wide range of cutting heights, much more than previous models. There are no labels/numbers/letters on the height adjustment, which is a bit of a draw back. The mower starts well cold, but it seems to be harder to start when warm/hot. It is likely due to the engine design with no choke or primer. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Better than battery mowers

Tried 2 models of battery mower - both failed miserably.
Toro - Positive: Mulch mode is very effective - no clumping in the blade area; easy to clean; starts on one pull; storage is easy and compact; uses almost no gas; clipping bag holds a lot.
Toro - Negative: One wheel lever is too tight and very, very difficult to adjust height; mower has difficulty providing an even cut.
Yes, I recommend this product.
