Q: is it strong enough to span a 8.5 foot length, or does it need extra support from underneath. For a chicken yard to keep them out of the rain.

  • A: No, the SUNTUF 0.032 in. Polycarbonate Roof Panel is absolutely not strong enough to span an 8.5-foot length without underneath support. If you try to stretch it across an 8.5-foot gap without framing beneath it, the thin 0.032-inch plastic will immediately sag under its own weight, fill with rainwater like a hammock, and likely collapse.

Q: I have a metal roof that is 5V. Will this fit properly into a 5V roof?
