Stanley FatMax Retractable Utility Knife is rated 1.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade insertion is unreliable Blade keeps falling out or will not completely retract. Taking knife apart to insert new blade is laughable. Thank goodness I kept my old standard Stanley knife.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Can't get blade in Tried and tried and could never get the blade in. Squeezed the heck out of the red button. No use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Blade pulls out constantly I wanted to like this knife, but its not a good design. The blade pulls out all the time, making the knife useless because spend 1/2 the time using it putting a blade back in. Stanley needs to offer a replacement knife to anyone that purchased this one, its that bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy Blade Change - Now that I know how! Haven't changed the blade since I bought the knife but then... I kept looking till I found a Ytube video on how to. Obviously, it's easy to pull the blade out simply by pushing the red button and letting the blade fall out. I was jaw-dropped when I saw the guy simply push the new blade in till it locks! THAT is how easy it is to change the blade. You do not even need to depress the red button, just push the new blade it till it locks (might need a jiggle or two). Yes, should have included that instruction. It is the easiest blade change of any knife. Glad I was not the only who struggled :)
