My dog was having problems digesting purina foods. I used them because they were in expensive. I remembered that Lamb and rice is easier for a dog to digest. I went to Wholesomes asca brand because it was a healthier product as far as their ingredients are concerned, pluse the Lamb and rice digestive properties. It works for him and he loves it!

Puppers w/ sensitivities and allergies

I used to use other "sensitive gi" brands that say they help with making sure your dog doesn't have issues. But typically it would work for a bit and then she would have flares. I used quite a couple of more expensive or well known brands... After doing all that I switched to this brand because it offered Lamb and rice specifically for her sensitivity. She has had issues with every other meat. We typically stick to small "treats" of which she has no issues but when it become the only dry food she is consuming, she flares. I've since switched to this brand along with a whole foods to help her get her nutrients, prevent boredom with food, and lessens her flares tremendously. Sorry for the long winded review but going through trying to figure out something she could stomach (no pun intended; well maybe) we kept getting recommendations for brands like hills science diet, nature's best, and others. This is the only brand that she seems to have no issues with! 🤗 I know every dog isn't the same so I only speak on part of my pups allergies. If you have a dog with allergies to certain grains and certain meat; I'd definitely recommend this one over the others. And, when buying from tractor supply, it's much cheaper than the leading pet stores!

I have four Golden Retrievers and over the years I’ve tried a ton of different foods. There was always something, skin issues, allergies, bad stools, you name it.
Switched to this and it’s been amazing. No issues, healthy weight, coats look great, and they actually love it.
Anyone with Goldens knows they can be picky. They’ll eat something for a month or two and then suddenly refuse it. We’ve been feeding this for over 3 years and haven’t had that problem once. We’ll occasionally try a different Wholesomes flavor, but always end up coming back to the lamb.
Honestly just nice to not have to keep switching foods & have happy and healthy dogs..

Corso’s room clearing gas emissions , stopped

I have three Cane Corsos and one Pitbull, and I free-feed them—they only eat what they need. One of the biggest challenges with Corsos is their terrible gas. It was honestly embarrassing to have company over because the room would suddenly fill with what felt like a toxic green fog. Eyes watering, people gagging… it was rough!
I decided to try this dog food because it’s grain-free, and it has made a huge difference. Since switching, the gas is completely gone—no more “green fog.” The dogs love the food, they’re doing great on it, and it gives them everything they need. I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Great for large breed with prone to allergies

Our two boys (a Great Dane and a Newfie Mix) had skin allergies. I didn’t went to do allergy testing, but they were at the vet for allergy meds and our Dane got Cyto Point injections as needed. They can eat some food so it was important to find a food that fit our budget. The most recent one didn’t work very long and the injections are $180. We decided to gamble with their food. We pulled them off chicken and went to Fish and Salmon. Our Dane didn’t eat for 4 days! We let the Newfie finish out that food and we tried Beef flavored. Bothe enjoyed it but it didn’t help their skin. I did some research and read Lamb was a good choice. We switched to Wholesome Lamb and not only do they love it, their skin has pretty much resolved.

Ingredient for ingredient and comparing cost, the Lamb meal and the Beef meal are our dogs favorites. The chi’s , healers, and LGDs all eat this food. They keep a healthy weight and energy. Their coats show the health. I purchase in store when we get to town but have also ordered online TSC for delivery. The delivery is actually third party and not TSC employees. Still had great delivery.

I’m really picky about dog food for my pup. I used blue buffalo but found out about recalls and changes to the ingredients and all that stuff as well as metal fibers and pieces in the food which cuts their stomachs and intestines. I got my dog on this food about a year and a half ago. it’s one of the best brands i’ve used. I found it didn’t have a bad odor that would make the room/house smell like the other food i used to give her. as well as seeing her more active and healthy with the food intake. she has a lot of sensitive stomach issues and it’s been difficult finding a diet. But this brand has done wonders, she eats it all without it just sitting for hours or days. and she is having regular bowel movements which has been an issue with other foods.

HORRIBLE SERVICE, DO NOT BUY ONLINE

I bought my pets food early in the morning around 6-7 am then went to pick it up assuming that it would be ready. I get to the store and they haven't even received the order that I placed several hours ago. They tell me that there is nothing they can about it because they can't see my order on their computer.
So I have waisted time ordering online because they say I can order online and they will bring it to me. What a bunch of crap. I will never ever again order online. It's way way way easier to just go get the stuff in person. Online ordering has proved to be a piece of crap. It's been over 13 hours and my location still hasn't received my order. #Tractorsupply do better! You suck!!!
