- A: Hello. Thank you for reaching out to us. These markers are meant to be used ideally on black boards, glass, light boards, and white boards. Sharpie Chalk Markers are designed to be more durable and resistant to smudging compared to regular chalk, but they still come off fairly easily with the right methods. Generally, they should be cleaned off surfaces within a few hours to prevent any potential difficulty. If left for an extended period of a few days or more, they can become harder to remove. If you have any more questions, please reach out to us via our Contact Us form on our website. We’re available Mon.-Fri. 9am - 5pm Eastern Time. Thank you! Sharpie® Consumer Carea year ago

Great sharpies

I LOVE how large and thick these markers are. I enjoy using them for art projects because they are big enough to cover huge surfaces and they write so well. They are a nice size when you are writing with them.

These fade easily. The clarity is amazing. It’s does leave a bit of a mess. It doesn’t have the chalkiness and its flows amazing. Remember to not press too hard.
