I have bought this laminator 2 different times now and both times after about a month it jams with the paper getting stuck and stops working.

I purchased this product with the refund from my previous laminator’s recall. The first few uses were fine. I began to notice that it was not heating properly and causing my projects to have bubbles and waves. Then the tray broke when I was putting it away, rendering it useless. The tray design was a concern from the beginning. It’s not large enough to place an entire letter size sheet on and moving it from closed to open and open to close is harder than it should be.

This is my 3rd one. First one broke after 2 months, and the second and third jam up every use no matter the thickness of the product or laminating sheet. Very frustrating and a huge inconvenience when you're trying to get things done.

This laminator was awesome for about six months, then it just started jamming and ruining all of my laminating projects. I purchased this one to use at home for little laminating jobs for my classroom, and it barely gets used. The older one in my classroom is used daily and still works great. This is very disappointing. I followed all the directions to get it unjammed, but I had to disassemble the whole thing to clear the jam... and then it happened repeatedly. I only use the Scotch pouches and have followed the directions for laminating. There is no reason this should be happening to this more expensive and newer machine.
