Q: Does the Royal Wing Bird Feeder (Mesh) hold Classic Mix Bird Food or does it only hold sunflower seeds? Thanks.

  • A: The mesh openings on this feeder is 2.5x1.8mm. Some of the millet or milo in the Classic Mix could be small enough to fall through the mesh, but overall it should hold the seed mix in well.

Not good when raining

I love the look of this feeder, but it has two problems. The first is it so wide that seed gets stuck in the middle and doesn’t actually fall out for the birds to get it once the seed level gets down to a certain point. The other is since it has mesh holes, the seed gets very wet and stuck together inside after a rain. Wastes a lot of seed that way.

Very durable and is easy to fill and hang. The deer have knocked it down twice and the feeder shows no signs of harm. Love it!! Looks great too!!
