Royal Wing 9 lb. Rooster Gazebo Bird Feeder, Blue

We have had this for almost a year now. We have had bears at feeders more than once, and this is the only feeder that has survived multiple times. The clear plastic inside is in separate pieces, and because of the metal cross beams, doesn't need to be super strong, so if one is broken it can be replaced by any household item since it is held in with some small metal flaps. The same is true with the bottom, held on by metal flaps, so it seems like it is made to give with too much pressure, but can be put back together. We just had the bottom ripped off by a bear, and I was able to put it back together with no problem. Every other feeder even touched by a bear had plastic that covered the whole inside and needed to be durable enough to hold the seed in and/or could not be repaired. We will be purchasing another one of these because of how good it is. Great Product!!!

I have bought two of these feeders--one each of the last two years. I liked the design and color. But the plastic that forms the "windows" is of such poor quality that it becomes brittle and breaks within a few months. I had hoped it was a fluke with the first one I bought, but today the second one did the same thing. Also the coated wire from which the feeder hangs gets worn and sort of mats up, making it impossible to lift the lid far enough to refill. A real disappointment!
