The North States Village Collection Red Barn Bird Feeder is part of an extensive Village Collection of feeders. This bird feeder is reminiscent of a country red barn with white accents and a green roof. Measuring 10-1/4 x 14.25 x 13-1/4 in., this bird feeder has the capacity to hold 8 lb. of seed. For monitoring seed levels, its windows are framed with clear plastic panes. The green roof contains a lift-off cupola to make filling this feeder a breeze. Q: My bird feeder came apart. All the pieces seem fine. Do you have directions how to reassemble? I cant figure how to get the window side pieces in.

- A: Because of the complex nature of its production, assembly instructions are not offered for our Village Feeders. The side walls on our Village Collection feeders are preassembled prior to affixing the structure to both the base and the rooftop. Additionally, the accessory pieces, such as window frames/lenses and doors, are installed after the walls have been built and do not easily remove. The feeder does not partially reassemble. If your feeder has become dismantled due to a manufacturing defect, it does carry a 3-year warranty. Please reach out to our customer service team for assistance with a warranty claim. Q: How do I open for cleaning?

- A: The tray on the bottom of the feeder can be removed by placing the feeder on its side and using the heel of your hand to firmly tap on the tray so the tabs on the underside slide through the opening/slots. There is a lip on these tabs so it may require multiple strikes to the feeder. However, an (easier) option for cleaning your feeder is to remove the chimney/cupula at the top of the feeder and insert a garden hose through the opening and washing it out that way. Q: Can we purchase a replacement for the cupola on the top of the roof? Ours came off and we cannot find it. We put plastic wrap over it to keep food inside the barn dry, but the birds have not come back to the feeder.

Great Looking Feeder with Large Capacity

This feeder is a great addition to my yard alongside my green barn and windmill feeder. It is easy to fill and clean and plenty big enough for mourning doves. I also have not observed any fading of the colors in over a year of use.

Not a good feeder, poor design, roof doesn’t cover feed tray properly the opening is small, seed gets soaked and compacted won’t come out and rots if you don’t clean it after every rain avoid it unless you like cleaning it after every rain

Straight sunflower seeds or mixes that is heavy on larger seeds clog it up, you have to keep rapping on it to get the seed to flow. It also needs better drainage. I have to bring it inside to thaw the ice often in winter. If the design flaws were fixed it would be perfect. The designs are cute.

Love this big bird feeder! It fills easily and is sturdy. I bought this one to replace one that that had gotten chewed up by our dog! I have several of this brand of feeder and they are the best I have found.
