Death Trap for Birds

I still love the look of this feeder, but had to take it down because it can be a death trap for birds. One had it's head caught in a feeder hole. By the time we saw it, it was motionless and we thought it was dead. My husband gently removed the bird and sat it on the ground. It eventually flew away but I don't know if it survived after that. We again found a bird trapped, but this time it had made its way inside the feeder. We placed it on the ground, took off the lid, and the bird flew away. I won't use it again.

HORRIBLE PRODUCT!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS FEEDER!!!!! Although it is a beautiful feeder, I have had two occasions where my little chickadees have become trapped inside of it when the level gets low (somehow they are able to crawl into the big feeding holes?). The first time it happened I was able to save the bird bc I saw the chickadee fluttering around inside of it but sadly yesterday when I went to fill it up, one had died inside of it bc I had been away for several days. This makes me both sad & angry & this product should be yanked from the shelves immediately!!! I am going to escalate my concerns also to the manufacturer of this product as well bc I am very upset about this!

It's my favorite very beautiful and sturdy and had been weather resistance and love each of the bird houses we have a collection just from Tractor Supply alone and just a few from other stores definitely makes our Family and Friends happy when they see all of our collection

This bird feeder holds a lot of seed so it doesn't need to be filled more than once a day. One drawback although is that there are several sharp edges and it seems to be rather flimsy so I'm not sure how long it will last.
