Doesn’t work for squirrels

It’s more bird proof than squirrel proof. I’ve had the feeder up for three weeks and no birds are eating from it but the squirrels have definitely figured out to get the seeds. One squirrel was up there for several minutes eating himself silly.

I feed a vast variety of bird seeds to my feathered friends, so I have a vast collection of bird feeders to use in a four season climate. The metal seems thin in comparison to my other similar bird feeders, as is the plastic window area, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Not a bird feeder, a squirrel house

The bird feeder is pretty, but my mother bought specifically because it was squirrel resistant. The squirrel does not find it to be difficult to access - in fact, it finds the bird feeder to be a lovely and comfortable squirrel house. Capacity is approximately 1 squirrel.
