- A: Some bareback pads are made with stirrups. This type is not and would have to be totally redesigned to accommodate stirrups and stirrup leathers. Because of that, this item cannot have stirrups and stirrup leathers added. I apologize.5 years agoHelpful?

- A: The girth is easy to swap out. We have used this pad on my 16 hand thick quarter horse and on the 13.2 hand pony by swapping out the girth. We use our regular girth on it and it works very well.5 years agoHelpful?

Fantastic Pad

Love this even more every time I use it. Comfortable for both me and my horse. So quick and easy to toss this and a Doctor Cook bitless on and sneak in a quick ride when I swing by the barn on lunch break, but also comfortable enough for long rides.
P.S. for those asking about adding stirrups (or looking for pads w/ stirrups) please look up how abysmally horrible they are for a horse’s back.
