'Lilac Crush' is a new, rare color addition to the SUMMERIFIC® Series of Hardy Hibiscus, featuring large 7-8" wide lilac flowers with thick, overlapping petals. It has a sturdy, upright, columnar habit and rich green, maple-like leaves, making it space-efficient. Although it emerges later than most perennials in spring, it is a fast grower. It is deer resistant and attracts pollinators, but Japanese beetles find it delicious. This plant is excellent for brightening up end-of-season gardens.
