Works great in my raised beds.

I put this potting soil in myvgreenstalk containers. It's loamy, light and rich in nutrients. The other brands compact tightly after about 3 months.

Listed as 4 cuft, bag is 2 cuft. Literally had to order in to learn this is a complete rip-off. FALSE advertising! Not even close, over inflated pricing.

We started a Garden Club at school! We searched many sites. Tractor Supply had the best price by far. Thanks for keeping costs to consumers at everyday low prices.

Great item for my garden.

The soil has been doing well to up-pot my seedlings and winter sow some milk jugs. The product has minimal (and relatively small) sticks and woodchips compared to other soils of similar cost.

I simply cannot understand a company that so mishandles a product such as ProMix for veg/herbs that they leave the product out over the rainiest weeks of the year so far only to completely saturate the bales with water. The cost to ship to my store is 3X the cost becaust of this added weight. The employees don't seem too concerned and apparently Tractor Supply isnt. Once at my store the strong strapping young man could barely lift the bale for the saturated weight. They have been in my trunk now for 3 weeks because I can't lift them out. I've cut the plastic on the front and leave my trunk open hoping they will dryout so that I can lift them out and use them.

If you do store pick-up, it ships as-is with no extra packaging, so all of my bales were ripped open in 6+ places each. Some were taped with clear tape by the shipper, and others were losing soil. Luckily, I had some duct tape in my car so I could patch them up before taking them home. If TSC/Promix are going to ship them as-is, they need to improve the thickness of the plastic wrapping to be a higher mil strength or double-wrap them to prevent them from ripping open before customer pick-up.

Every bale was busted and completely, completely taped up with packing tape. To drive that far and see that for something I need, not want. Disgusted. I know they are going to sale it to someone that doesn't need it. Waited 2 weeks and wasted gas for that.

I've found that Promix is great for growing vegetables.The amount of mix, 4 cubic feet allows me to fill my greenstalk. The pricing is affordable.
