Highly recommend for large cats!!

I have a 31lb Mainecoon, he's large, and stinky lol
Traditional covered boxes don't fit him well, he's always hanging out of the entrance. This box is a game changer!
It's long and wide, he can go inside, and do his business, with the flap closed!
The design is amazing, it's all rounded out on the inside, so everything easily slides out when fully dumping it, and it is very easy to scoop!
This was a BEST purchase!

Just Did not Work for our Cat

Purchased this litter pan for a large cat that refuses to squat when urinating. She refused to go into it with the swinging door so I therefore removed it thinking it might work. Because the pan is lower in the front where the door is, her urine simply came out of the opening onto the litter mat. I tried removing the lid also but again because that front side is too low, that did not work either. If you have a cat that doesn't mind the door and squats this would perhaps work for you. Very frustrated with trying to find a litter pan with high enough sides all the way around. I have read so many reviews about other people having the same issue. Sure wish Petmate would come up with something for cats like mine and apparently many others. They could contact me and I would be glad to give them some input on how to design it. It would be a money maker for them

Top doesn't clip to bottom

First let me start by saying I did pay and then pull up and pick up the lady that brought it out to me put it in the car I didn't even look at it, I assumed it was okay. By the time I got home and looked at it I realized it was all scuffed up The Little door wouldn't stay on no matter what it almost looked like it had been used before and returned. I'm disappointed because the lady that brought it out to me to the car should have looked at it and should have saw the scuff marks all over it. But beyond that the item itself it is a poor design once you fill it with kitty litter those little fake clippy sides do not stay attached I had to use a physical duct tape if I wanted to use the handle to move it around or if I just wanted to move it around. It's not a good design that's all I can say and of course I'm a little upset about getting a used product from the store.

Misleading Add information

ordered Petmate jumbo basic HOODED cat litter pan online and to be picked up at Tractor Supply in Ruston, La. Daughter went to pick up item, there's no hood, just pan. very misleading add
