I bought this earlier today and wanted to provide an overall review. Based on the other reviews I had high hopes but was let down hard. Let's start with performance. It works (sort of). Basically you have to stay under 6 miles an hour. That is hard if you are towing behind an ATV or UTV. The hitch fits on either a 1+1/4 or 2" tow hitch with no ball needed so it is easy to hook up. The sweeper has an adjustable hitch that allows the brushes to ride at the correct height. The biggest problem I had is that the bag does not fully fill and it fills very quickly when brushing up leaves. On the plus side in an hour I had brushed up over 20 bags of leaves. Moving to construction... Within an hour of using it, I had the first tear in the bag. Also you have to be super careful of the emptying rope, as it can easily wrap itself around the brushes. For safety reason do NOT wrap or loop around your wrist. The metal parts are solid and it seem like it will hold up. Brushes were bent up some after only an hour's use so hoping they will hold up but I have my doubts. I also think the bagger needs some redesign to catch leaves/grass the seam to fly over it. I would also vote for larger wheels. In summary, it works but I don't know how well it will hold up in the long run. If you have lots of leaves it will fill very fast and drive you nuts emptying it every pass or 2. Good for home use and yards under a half acre unless you don't have many trees. Also does NOT do a good job on driveways.

Poor performance. The sweeper does not get close enough to ground to pick up all leaves. After running over the same area several times, there were still leaves on the ground.

This tool is worth every dollar and exceeded my expectations at that. It was easy to assemble, and works like an oiled machine. The tow bar has holes you can offset to either side which means you can get it up against borders and fences, even if your tractor has a wider deck. There are only two improvements I would want. First, a bit larger tire with a bit more aggressive tread. They tend to slide when the ground is a bit wet, especially in leaves. Since that drives the brush, it stops picking up when it binds or slides. Second is that the bag dump is a bit awkward, especially when full of mulched leaves. It might be nice to have a fat handle you could attached at a convenient spot. I tied a loop big enough to get my hand in and slip over my gas tank lid in between dumps, but it's hard on your hands after 30 dumps. Neither is a show stopper. If I had two yards I'd buy a second one.

Love our new sweeper! Awesome on leaves and pine needles. Don't sweep in high gear, take your time and enjoy watching your sweeper do the work for you! Ordered online and put it together ourselves, easy and simple.

With many trees on my lot, fall is beautiful. And painful. Yes, I have a leaf blower, but it can only do so much. With this, I attach it to my zero-turn mower and it sweeps them up instantly. I dump them in one area and mulch away with my Stihl blower/mulcher.

Bent in areas. Bag started to rip within 30 minutes. Really didn't sweep as expected.

High quality and performs very well picking up both pine needles and pine cones.

Does a good job overall, and the higher capacity hopper is well worth the extra price allowing longer times between dumps. The pull rope makes dumps fast & efficient. Reason for 4 stars...and this would probably be true for all lawn sweepers...is that it doesn't work as well as a vacuum attachment or a blower on uneven areas and it won't pick up leaves or grass clippings in valleys like ditches or other dips.

Unfortunately the unit was damaged on delivery. The packing of the unit didn't protect it during shipping.

Overall a very good sweeper. Adjustment works as expected, picks up very well. Basket is fairly easy to dump. Assembly is a bit of work but do able for most.

Works very well. Used after de thatching a large area.

Ohio Steel of Viet Nam Directions are difficult at best. Might be better to just let the Vietnamese do the whole process.

Very pleased with how well it picked up grass, I’m certain that it will do an even better job on leaves this fall! I definitely recommend!

Overall good product. The clip and pin is on the smaller side and is more difficult than it should be to attach but is easily replaceable.

Best sweeper I've ever had

Ease of attaching, ease of setting height and sweeping cleanly for the 6-1/2 acres I have is very much appreciated for this model. It is very quiet as I sweep. When needing to empty contents the catcher flips up with very little effort. A must buy if one is looking for a new sweeper! Very happy with the purchase.

Height adjustment will not stay locked in and always drops to lowest brush position during use. It is a design flaw with the sweeper. The wheel/axle assembly that the locking pin is attached to floats in the metal housing assembly that has the holes in it that the height adjustment pin locks into so as you use the sweeper the axle assembly slides back and forth causing the locking pin to disengage with the holes causing it to drop to the lowest position. There is no way to adjust the length on the locking pin and unless you made a spacer to keep the axel assembly from sliding back and forth there is no way to fix it. They either need to make the locking pins about 1/4" longer or attach the axle bearings to the metal housing to fix the issue. We returned it because you shouldn't have to try to fix a brand new product that you spent $350 for.

Very happy with the lawn sweeper. It works as described.

great sweeper, tip of the day, use a large cord to dump the basket. I use a 3/4 inch rope, lot easier to pull. This sweeper picks up dry grass, leaves and twigs with ease. Careful on the wet stuff. Heavy wet grass does not go well.

It does what I bought it for. Still trying to get used to working it.

Easy to use and it works great!

Works pretty well. I let the grass sit for a couple hours after mowing so I can see the cut stuff better. It took considerably longer than their estimate to put together but I managed alone.
