it works and the free fan was a bonus

Instructions for the unit installation were written by a 2 year old that has no concept of what they are attempting to accomplish. Entire manual is one step away from jibberish (and I am being kind). The unit does not come with ANYTHING to hook it up to the gas line, and who the heck ever heard of a 3/8 inch npt street fitting?? (I never had). Unit says it comes with a triple A battery for the igniter, but it was not in the box. I had to go to my local plumbing supply house to get the fitting as no one in any of the large box stores (One starts with H, the other L) had no employee who understood what a npt fitting was, and then tried to sell me regular Teflon tape for the connections. The counter people at the plumbing supply house had a good laugh over my highlighting sections of the manual for this device....and least they helped me get the right parts and pieces to hook it up. AND do not ask Tractor Supply employees about this unit; I did and was told everything was in the box to hook it up.
