Q: How ventilated does this need to be? Would it work on a large bus with the rooftop emergency hatches popped open and a window?
2 years ago- A: Hi there, According to the vendor: Regarding the question if they could use the MH-80T-KFA inside a bus. The short answer is that it would not be recommended on a stationary bus, but definitely should not be used if the bus is moving. A minimum of three square feet (2,800 sq cm) opening of outside air for every 100,000 Btu/Hr. is required for ventilation. The MH-80T-KFA cannot be used in Massachusetts or New York City in an indoor setting (even inside a bus), they will also need a permit in MA from the Fire Marshal. Kerosene and diesel will smell when combusted. The emission odors will be blown into the space and possibly be absorbed by materials inside the bus.2 years agoHelpful?
