Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works perfectly Have used this item many times.... to any and all of those saying it does not dry.... perhaps you shouldn't be attempting to spray professional finish products. Add the hardener/catalyst.... will dry every time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great primer if directions are followed I have used a gallon and a half of this product on several tractor restoration products. i always bought quart cans and the settling at the bottom off the can is the way the product is. The technical data sheet says the easiest way to mix it is to pour it from one can to another until the product is smooth. This works great from my experience. keeping the reducer down to a minimum after thoroughly mixing and applying thin coats speeds drying time. Dry to touch in 4 hours at 77 degrees, sandable in 24. Fills minor imperfections nicely but needs to be sanded down to get a nice smooth finish on the overcoat. overcoat sticks like glue to it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent primer, poor shelf life I recently restored a Craftsman lathe and used this primer for the paint job. I don't understand why others were having poor experiences with this. The primer dried just fine within 24 hours for me, and the tractor implement paint stuck to it just fine without sanding. I used an oil brush for the primer and paint work. Looks great to me! My only complaint is the can had to be taken back because there was a huge congealed mass at the bottom. The store exchanged it without a question, but the second can had the same issue. In spite of the fact the product was a bit congealed (probably due to being on the shelf too long), the primer worked great. Look for yourself.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Does it ever dry? Don't know if I bought old product but this primer did not dry in 24 hours. Didn't dry in one week. Could scratch it with my finger nail. Removed it with lacquer thinner. Will finish with another product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Way to long to dry I bought this product and the reducer it recommends. I mixed it according to the directions for spraying and stirred it well. I sprayed it with a professional automotive gun. The can says to recoat in 24 hours. I needed to do some sanding before recoat. after 24 hours it was still wet. so I gave it another day. still wet. I waited 10 day before I could sand it and some areas were still wet. The temp was 80 degrees during those days. I have never used such a bad paint product in my life. I really wish TSC would switch to a different manufacturer.
