It’s a beautiful coffee table but it was brutally difficult to put together, and I have put together a ton of furniture. The drawers were especially difficult because there were no pre-drilled holes so trying to extrapolate placement from the installation instructions was difficult. I had to use my own drill kit to pre-drill a hole and make sure the drawer was appropriately placed. If I didn’t have experience doing this or my own tools, I think this would have been a failed effort. The instructions…How do I put this? The instructions were TERRIBLE. They were very difficult to read with tiny pictures showing how the screws or fasteners are installed. The instructions also did a terrible job of clarifying which installation screws went where. Again, I have my own tools and a supply of screws, so I ended up using a couple of my own, at times. For the parts requiring an Allen wrench, I used a socket driver. otherwise, I would have lost my mind trying to get some of those screws in. Further, it was hard to keep track of what needed to be done in the instructions. They were very poorly put together. What was nice is that the wood parts were properly marked. One thing they got right, though, The saving grace of this table is that it does look nice when put together. Additionally, the wood is dense and of a high quality. The retro look is also very cool. So, if you are patient, good at putting things together, have your own tools, and can extrapolate badly written instructions, then I would recommend this table. The payoff is nice in that the table looks very cool. However, if you are not any of the aforementioned, I would get something else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my very first time ever assembling a piece of furniture, and I was a little nervous going into it. The directions were super clear though, and once I trusted the process, it all came together beautifully! Honestly, I surprised myself with how nice it turned out. The table feels really heavy-duty and sturdy, not flimsy at all, and it gives the room such a warm, polished look with the oak finish. It also came really well-packed for delivery. Nothing was scratched, dented, or damaged, which I really appreciated. The folding storage doors are such a standout feature. They’re push-to-open with an anti-slam soft close, so they feel super high-end every time I use them. Plus, the hidden storage is a total bonus. I love having a place to tuck things away while still having a stylish centerpiece in the living room. If I had to pick one tiny downside, it’s that the connectors on the fold-down openings are white nylon straps. They’re not the prettiest, and mine came in slightly different lengths so the doors don’t fold down perfectly evenly. It’s a little quirky detail that only I notice, so it doesn’t bother me too much. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this coffee table. For my first build, it was a total win, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something sturdy, functional, and surprisingly high-end!

It doesn’t feel or look of high quality. *This product we received was damaged where the leg meets the support. As well as scratches.* I do appreciate the storage it offers. Assembly was also disheartening; directions unclear and hard to interpret. Overall I was disappointed with the coffee table.
