The LW2423HRSM is the SMART way to keep your house feeling comfortable no matter what the weather is like outside. LG ThinQ technology lets you control your air conditioner with your phone or use with Amazon Alexa and Hey Google to have control with the sound of your voice. This unit ideal for cooling medium to large rooms up to 1440 sq. ft. and you can even add a bit of warmth on cooler days with the supplemental heat option. With 2 cooling and fan speeds and a 24 hour timer, you can create the perfect cooling schedule. 4-way air deflection lets the flow of air be directed where it's needed most whether cooling, heating, or just circulating air. If there is a power outage, the auto restart feature will automatically turn your unit back on when power is restored. Other features include a remote control, easy window installation kit, removable, washable filter and a check filter alert.

  • A: This model does not bring in fresh outside air for ventilation, it recirculates indoor air to cool or heat the space efficiently. However, it does have an exhaust vent control lever, which allows for limited exchange to expel stale indoor air rather than pull in fresh air. Q: what is the compressor capacitor and relay so i can buy new ones? with the screen beeing off the compressor stays running, only had unit for 5 months

Is the error code that is flashing on the display for your LG 23,000 BTU Smart Wi-Fi Enabled Window Air Conditioner, Cooling & Heating, Model # LW2423HRSM, an 'LH 34' or 'CH 34' error code? If it is a 'CH 34' error code, that indicates the SAFETY RELAY powered down the unit due to abnormal pressure in the sealed system. This is not a defect but is designed to protect the unit from overheating. Error code 'LH 34' is not listed as an error code which means a service technician will be required for a proper diagnosis. Q: Can this air-conditioner be set, with the included timer, to turn on and then off at the same time everyday of the week? Do you have or know of a unit this large that has a timer as I described in my first question?

To do this, you can set up a recurring schedule by selecting "Add a Schedule" in the LG ThinQ app. Start by setting a start time, then choose the dates for the schedule to apply. Installed unit in June of 2024, AC work great, starting using the heater and the blower stop working.

Great unit!

We bought this during the heat of the summer and it has done great keeping up! Has worked great! Very impressed, and was simple to set up. Haven't tried the heater yet, but we will soon as winter hits! I'm sure it will do great just like the A/C!
