Q: Is it safe to microwave just long enough to melt a piece of cheese?

    A: KONG rubber is safe for occasional microwaving, although we do not recommend frequent or long exposure to extreme temperatures as it may compromise the toy's integrity. For occasional & very short use, it is completely safe and reliable.

I have four bully breed super chewer dogs and these hold up better than any other toy. If left unattended they can still destroy them but no dog should be left unattended with toys anyways.
