We purchased this remote toy at Christmas for our son. After opening it from the crate we looked for the battery pack which was underneath the frame.once we plugged it into the outlet it appeared charged after almost 2 hours, only to find out that once running it only lasted about 10 minutes.

2nd time purchased, this time I opted for 1yr coverage. Decent toy for grandson enjoyed the first for about 5 months. Then steering gears wore out. Yes he used it probably 15 hours every week.
