Husqvarna Lawn Xpert 21 in. 40V Cordless Self-Propelled Lawn Mower, 15 Ah

I switched from gas powered to electric and am really pleased with this mower. It handles all types of grass easily, and battery life is excellent.

This product shattered my prejudice against electric lawn movers. It's a really great design.

Just recently bought their 322r Xpert lawnmower had a Husqvarna lawnmower for 11 years before it finally gave out. Never had to change oil or take it to repair shop.

So far, I am very happy with my purchase. I use it one time and its perfect for my needs. I would certainly recommend it. However, looking at YouTube, many customers complain about the shoot falling off. please look into this issue and fix it.

We unloaded this and got to work without looking at the manual. It took a bit of experimentation to learn the appropriate walking speed and grass cutting style for our lawn, which is about 8000 sq ft. The lawn is level but not being well-groomed is bumpy in places. It came with two batteries and required more than 1 to finish the lawn. The batteries charge in a little more than 1 hour. I'm a seasoned citizen in pretty good shape. There is a bit of maneuvering to turn a tight corner, but this in no way wore me out for the day. After reading the manual, which is pretty brief, I figured out a few more tricks, such as how to adjust the handle for my height and how to adjust the wheels for the grass cutting height. When I finished I tipped it onto its side and spent about 2 minutes with a leaf blower and a whisk broom to clean it for storage. Easy peasy!

When I purchased the Husqvarna LE322 lawnmower, I honestly had modest expectations. I anticipated a reliable tool to handle my regular yard work, but I was not prepared for how impressive this machine would be. From the moment I unboxed it, I noticed the sturdy build quality and thoughtful design. The assembly was straightforward, and the mower felt solid without being overly heavy. Once I started mowing, I was struck by how smoothly the Husqvarna LE322 operates. Its engine runs with a steady, confident hum, and it glides across the lawn with minimal effort on my part. The cutting performance is exceptional—each pass leaves a clean, even finish, and it handles both short grass and slightly overgrown patches with ease. I also appreciated the adjustable cutting heights, which allow me to customize the trim for different areas of my yard. Battery life is better than expected. It took about 45mins to mow and I had half charge on both batteries left. Overall, this lawnmower exceeded my expectations in every way. Not only does it deliver an excellent cut, but it also makes lawn care feel less like a chore and more like a simple, satisfying task. For anyone considering a durable, high-performance lawnmower, the Husqvarna LE322 is a fantastic choice.

So easy to operate. So many features that make cutting the lawn quick and easy.

This is a great mower with plenty of power to cut thick and high grass. It is very quiet compared to an ICE mower. I would recommend this mower to a friend. Plus no gas spills, no trips to the gas station for fill-ups. Just charge and go.

I used this mower for roughly 30 minutes today with 2 bli30 batteries installed. It cuts nicely and there is less noise and vibration compared to a gas mower. I am sure a gas mower has more range, but we will use this to trim around tighter areas our zero turn can't get. My wife and kids won't have to check oil, fill it with gas, know how to choke it, and pull start it, which makes it user friendly.

Note - I am early in my ownership of this product. She runs pretty good. A little loud, but much quieter than my old gas mower. Practically 0 maintenance, so 10/10 from me.

Excellent power easy on arms adjusts to family heights (short to tall), battery lasts thru large areas, design is good. Takes unlevel ground very well. Only had for a month but so far so good! This was an upgrade from our beloved Craftsman battery push mower purchased in 2020. Husky still requires the thumb work, is heavier and a bit more awkward to store but we are happy with our use here on the farm.

The mower runs great and is easy to use. The only issue I have is with the placement of the speed control; every time your body gets too close to the handle the speed is adjusted all the way up or down. Putting this control in a different location or designing it so that it is no so sensitive would be an improvement.

Ragged cut, left trail of clippings despite being in mulch mode. Battery charge did not last as long as advertised. Expected better from Husqvarna based on their reputation. Regret purchase, can’t recommend.

This is pretty heavy and difficult to steer, runs through the batteries pretty quickly, grass gets loaded underneath if not completely dry, it will stop a lot when that happens. On the other hand, it’s well built and it feels like good quality, the time and use is the ultimate test.

By far the best lawn machine I hav ever purchased. Had problems with the delivery but thanks to store manager Brenda in Medford NY it was all straitened out. Very grateful to her skills to achieve this.

The Husqvarna LE332 battery mower features (as well other battery powered yard equipment) are exactly what I wanted. The functions and features impressed me and far out did my expectations. I own other Husqvarna products (27” gas powered snow-blower, Rancher450 chainsaw, and my previous gas mower) that are rock solid. After researching all brands of battery mowers I’m so pleased that Husqvarna makes such an impressive mower. Now I can happily replace my trimmer/edger and leaf blower with Husqvarna products and still utilize the same batteries between all equipment and cleanup work shop of different brand battery chargers.

Completed two cuts of my lawn and I am enjoying it more every time. No pulling or starting fluid just pop in the batteries, push a button and off I go. Quiet, enjoyable walk around the yard. Bagging or mulching, there are no problems. Batteries charge in under an hour. They gain capacity with the first couple of discharge cycles so don’t worry about the first cut. Once done the latch controls in the handle make storage easy.

I’m very happy with the build quality, battery life and over experience of using this Husqvarna mower. I was reluctant to make the conversion from gas to battery, but very glad that I did. I have a 1/3 acre yard and it handled it well on a single charge.

Charging the batteries now. Can’t wait to give it a spin.

I purchased my first battery operated lawn care product last spring (a Husqvarna Leaf Blower), I own the Husqvarna 580 BTSII Gas Blower for my larger yard jobs, but the battery one works well for my smaller jobs. I couldn't understand why the price was a bit higher than the other brands that I researched, but after using it for a complete season, I truly believe the old saying "You get what you pay for". I was in the market for a new lawnmower for my Texas residence and after researching all of the battery-operated ones on the market (some I actually got to use from my neighbors), I decided to go with the Husqvarna Lawn Expert LE-322. This mower is truly a professional grade mower with all of the options that it comes with. I also like the fact that it uses the same charger and battery that my leaf blower uses, all which have a rapid charge rate and long battery life during use. I highly recommend this mower based on my first couple of cuts on my Bermuda lawn and I love that it comes with a Limited 3-Year warranty. Less noise, no oil changes, and it folds up small enough to store in my garage with a very small footprint. What's not to love about this "Best in Class" battery mower in my personal humble opinion!

I just got this and it was basically set up in the box. Ready to go. The first mow was nice and easy.

Was able to purchase mower during Labor Day sale and scored additional battery. Mowed yesterday and mower did a great job and batteries lasted entire mow. Only thing I would change is the location for setting speed. Bumped it inadvertently several times and sped up the self propel of the machine.

A really great mower, the batteries lasted as expected and the cut was outstanding. The easy to adjust height worked great. The only slight issue I had was with the walk behind speed control I would keep bumping or hitting with my belly. I would prefer a variable speed control, harder you pull the lever the faster you go type of deal..

After reviewing all electric mowers on the market I decided on the Husqvarna LE322R, Boy am I glad I did. Great mower, Lots of power and very easy to operate.

On gentle terrain with lots of forward mowing, this 322R mower ought to be a pleasure to use. The blade motor has lots of power for tall grass. The self-propelled operation is smooth and has no trouble pushing up a 30 degree incline with a wide range of speed, slow to fast. It mows cleanly at a medium pace through thick 8 inch grass without slowing or showing any stress, and in that regard is wonderful. It’s rear discharge chute (required when not mulching or collecting) hangs off the back but doesn’t interfere with my long stride and blows to the left with even dispersion. I haven’t yet used its collection bag (included), but since it is practically identical to the one on my older Husqvarna 21 inch mower I expect it will be just as easy to use. I don’t use the mulch plug so cannot comment on it. It has a pair of small LED “headlights” that turn on with the mower, not sure if I’ll ever benefit from them. Battery life with the included pair of 7.5Ah BLi30’s is as advertised so no complaint there. I already own a string trimmer with Husqvarna 40v BLi200 5.7Ah batteries and those are still going strong after 4 seasons of use. One reason I purchased this mower is because those batteries will plug into this mower, if needed, even though they are not specifically recommended to be used in the mower. They run it well, although shorter duration than the Bli30’s. Since a charger was included with the mower, I now have two chargers to speed up recharges. My mower life is not all roses, however. If your yard has some roughness, like mine does, the mower may sometimes drag the ground more easily than some other mowers do. I noticed there is a steel bar spanning between the two rear wheels that rides about an inch or so above ground level. The bar is part of the mower’s one-touch height adjustment mechanism, I guess. The bar is low enough, regardless of deck height, to contact the ground regularly when a wheel rides through a rut. This made mowing in a drainage ditch or over rocks frustrating. The rear discharge chute (part# 538680501) is troublesome. It is flimsy plastic and in use seems sort of wobbly but the issue is it doesn’t stay securely attached to the mower. This is the reason I have rated only 3 stars out of 5. Otherwise, I’d have rated 4 stars considering the other small issues. The discharge chute hangs off the back of the mower by a pair of molded “hooks”. There is a rear cover that must be raised in order to hang the chute onto the mower’s rear, and then a spring in the raised cover presses the chute down to hold it in place. I discovered within my first few minutes of use that the discharge chute can easily be bumped out of position and suddenly become loose from one both hooks. This happens mostly while mowing on terrain with a bit of roughness, like most of my yard. (The accessory clipping bag of my older mower attaches via the same scheme but has not been a problem). Accidental un-attachment happened to me at least a dozen times in my first hour of mowing, mowing either forward or reverse, until I stuck it in place with Gorilla tape. Unfortunately, before I did that, the second time the chute came loose on me I was pulling the mower backwards. The chute dislodged and dragged along the ground, being pushed downward by the rear cover spring, and while dragging was tipped INTO the spinning blades. A several inches long chunk of the chute was chewed off and scattered into my yard. I'd upload a photo but not allowed for some reason. This seems like a design flaw and should have been discovered during product development. Husqvarna’s response is they “are unable” to replace the chute, only dealers can do that, and as of this writing the chute is listed but not available to buy from Husqvarna’s online parts store. By the way, it is possible to mow without the chute or any attachment, but the clippings just clump all over the rear left wheel and make a terrible mess, and the mower clogs very easily. You need a chute. After taping the chute into place, the majority of mowing with this thing in open space is a pleasant experience. There are some other minor operational issues, though. The walking speed switch is easy to use and operates very freely to give a wide range of speeds. I accidentally bumped the speed switch many, many times while repositioning the mower at a corner, and when resuming travel suddenly the mower would go at an unexpected speed. Then, when I tried to change the speed while walking, the switch moved so easily that my vibrating finger would typically move it several clicks one way or the other rather than the single click that I intended. As I get more used to this mower I’ll learn better how to avoid touching that darned switch. Still, I would personally wish the switch had more resistance to make it less “touchy”. To begin self propelling, press and hold one of the two thumb switches. The blade doesn’t need to be spinning to use self-propel. There is always a brief pause after pressing one of those switches before motion begins. The pause is followed by a slow-ish ramp-up to your speed. Taken together, the pause and ramp-up limit self-propel’s usefulness when working in confined spaces. You can only self-propel forward, so when mowing with shorter back and forth moves (like under bushes and trees) the self-propel feature is not helpful. This is a heavy-ish mower too, noticeably heavier than similarly sized gas push mowers. I found it tiring to manipulate its inertia in tight spaces especially when pulling-pushing with shorter strokes. There is a slight drag by the self-propel motor during manual push-pull, but not enough to be bothersome and less than I expected. I am not happy with the placement of those two thumb switches (for self-propel) on the handle. You only need to hold one of the two switches for operation, which is a good thing, but after an hour or so of mowing, my hands and thumbs became extremely uncomfortable. The width of the handle grab combined with the angle required of my wrist and hands to hold a switch and guide the mower, caused my thumbs to ache over time. By using only one hand I could give a temporary rest to the other thumb but since variations of hand position are difficult to make, I suspect that with frequent use, a repetitive stress injury is possible. Finally, this is a “21 inch” mower but the blade is slightly shorter, about 20.5 inches. Replacement blades for this model from Husqvarna are expensive, about 3 times more than OEM blades for my older 21 inch Husqvarna gas mower. Should you buy this mower? Consider your yard carefully. For some this will be a wonderful mower (as long as the discharge chute remains attached), for others maybe it’s not the right choice. For me, it is valuable for trim-mowing parts of my 3 acre yard where I can take advantage of self-propelling and that don’t use a lot of forward-backward motions. My older gas mower will work the tighter spots and drainage ditches better (giving time for the batteries to recharge). A Husqvarna MTZ handles the rest of the yard beautifully. Use the right tool for the job.

It’s a very good mower and has lots of power I do like it. However if you have the grass chute on it any time you go to spin the mower around to start the next pass it just knocks off the chute. Just doing my back yard I had to stop 10 times to put it back on the design is poor maybe should’ve put a secondary latching system on the bottom so when you turn it it just doesn’t get pushed out of the upper saddles. Batteries don’t last as long as I’d like but overall I do think it’s a good mower the chute on the other hand is a big bummer for me I’m gonna have to come up with something so I don’t have to waste my time stopping 10 different times.
