Bad change of formula!!

Simba has been eating this product since he was a puppy. However, in the last weeks he developed nose inflammation, diarrhoea/soft stools, vomiting, scratching ears, liking paws, refusing food. I have just researched in the web and I realized that you have changed your formula!! Has Hill's received any other adverse-event reports involving this production lot, K0980800 068, or this recently reformulated Sensitive Stomach & Skin Chicken dry food? I had to take him to the vet and he is now on a soft diet of rice and chicken but I need to find an alternative formula that is nourishing and does not affect him adversely as this new formula has. I have another bag in the garage that I will not open. Can you please suggest a solution? Dr Estela Valverde

My dogs health is top priority for because I literally see him as family. I want him to have an easy time with digestion so this food does the trick. his skin and hair look healthy and shiny and hasn’t caused any allergies for my puppy. The packaging is normal. it’s convenient standard. No complaints. I would definitely recommend the dog food to any dog owner. Even if your dog doesn’t have any stomach or skin issues it’s just a really healthy option for your dog.

Old recipe was much better

I have been feeding my dogs and cat science diet since 1985 and Sensitive Skin and Stomach since about 1990.. Science diet changed the Sensitive Skin and Stomach recipe. Now my 14 year old Papillon and 17 year old Beagle won’t eat the new stuff.. The beagle gets excited when she sees a white bag. Then is disappointed that it isn’t the older good food she is used to. It WASN’T BROKE but you fixed it. Now it’s broke. I have had to discard Lots of Science Diet . So disappointed in Hills giving up and trying to run with the bulls. I need to find some of the old receipt food

I always cooked my dogs food for years . My new little dogs must have had sensitive stomach as some times she ate and most time very little. I came across an ad for Hills sensitive stomachs and skin so decided to try it. After their first time trying it they loved it and ate every bit even licking their bowl clean. Now when i bring them dinner, they jump up and down with tails ferociously wagging . Thank you so much. They absolutely love your product over my home cooked meals. They are very happyat dinner

A Step Up from Supermarket Biscuits

We tried Hillside.sensitive stomach and skin with a 13 year-old bull terrier and our three year-old mini dash hound. We took the transition very slowly particularly with a as she becomes quite unwell if food changes are made too quickly. The gradual transition went smoothly with very little digestive upset. Both dogs enjoyed the food immensely. During the trial both dogs would pace around to race to their bowls in anticipation it was clear they enjoying the taste. I noticed some improvements in my Terri skin. She’s 13 so she can be prone to redness dry flake your skin and irritation that are relatedto food sensitivities while these issues didn’t disappear. there was a noticeable improvement. My mini dash hound took a little longer to come around. As she is a smaller breed I eventually fed her the biscuits with a small portion of wet food and she took straight away to it. Overall this was a really successful trial. Both dogs handled the food well and enjoyed it

Tried the hills science sensitive skin and stomach, my dog loved the flavour and since he has been on these biscuits he isnt scratching at much, he used scratch that bad that his stomach area was red raw but since trying these biscuits his skin has settled down and he doesnt scratch anymore, will definitely be keeping him on these now

Extremely happy with this dog food. I have two dogs with both sensitive stomach and skin issues and I have noticed their symptoms have decreased.
They love the taste, and Lulu likes to remind me that it’s almost dinner time by dragging her bowl across the room.
A bit TMI, I can always tell if they’ve eaten something that doesn’t agree with them by their bowel movements, but with this kibble, there is no signs of inflammation - just healthy poop.
I will repurchase, and I’m happy I had the opportunity to introduce them to this brand.

I read all the instructions on transitioning from her regular diet to this product and was all prepared. She just jumped right into the hills product without a second glance, no transitioning needed. She has had a patch of fur missing for a good two years we are not sure why but have never been able to get it to grow back, after a short time in this product it grew back and you’d never know it was missing, her coat looks better than ever. Her poo was also a bit messy to pick up but since changing to hills it’s been so much better and much easier to pick up. We are a new convert

Gentle on Skin and Stomach

Echo has sensitive skin and stomach, so she was excited to try Hill’s Science Diet Skin and Stomach Dog Food. The transition was easy, and she loved the taste from the very first bowl.
After a couple weeks, I noticed fewer stomach upsets and less scratching. Her coat was shinier, healthier and softer. Her gut health and skin allergies have improved.
Overall, I’m very happy with the results and would recommend this product. I will continue to use this for my dog as she is thriving on it.
