Q: My dog weighs 35 lbs. He is a Frenchton. I have to put ground wet food on top of dry to get him to even eat the dry. What do you suggest on Health Science can food for him?

I have two older Shetland Sheepdogs that were getting a bit pudgy on the Sensitive Stomach and Skin, so I switched them to Light. In two and a half months, they've each dropped roughly 10% of their weight and are looking so much better.

THIS DOG FOOD IS AWESOME So my doggies just loved this food! It is perfect size for puppies and adult dogs! They love the food and it’s easily eaten for them! No choking when eating! They tend to eat too fast and choke and they didn’t with this dog food! Both Frank and Wednesday loved it and I will be swapping to this food! It’s a little pricey but it’s worth the swap!

This Hills Science Diet Light Adult Small Bites is a real hit with our two dogs, a French Bulldog and a toy Australian Shepherd. They are both under 35 pounds and the small dry kibble makes it much easier for them to eat. The ingredients are fantastic compared to other brands and they both seemed to transition over from their old brand just fine with zero issues.

My dogs seemed to like the food. My older dog seem to have a harder time chewing it because she so old but she didnt seem to mind. I can tell they really liked the flavor and they didnt seem bloated afterward like the other brands have done to them.

This came recommended from my vet for my fat little dog. It can be really hard to control his calories because he would just stare at me if I gave him a lesser portion of his regular kibble. This allows him to eat more, because the calories are reduced.

We were on Wellness Weight management and she seemed to like it, I mean she will eat it, then I started to notice she didn’t like her food, so I would add toppings. Which makes putting Hazel on diet food pointless because now I’m adding more calories. But with Hills Diet adult light small chicken bites, I didn’t have to lure her or add toppings to get her to eat it, she’ll just eat it. She hasn’t been eating it long enough for me to notice any weight changes, but my fur baby wasn’t really overweight but she’s also not lean.. hard to give opinion on the calories or weight loss aspect of the food just yet. Maybe I’ll give it another month or so to see its true effect.

Perfect size for my little ones

Fed this to my 2 younger pups and my 2 fosters. Transition was really easy, no issues for any if them. The size of the pieces worked great for all of them as well. So many adult brands don't account for smaller dogs, so this was perfect. 1 female and 3 males- they all loved it. There was a lot of crumbs in the bag when I first opened it, that have since settled to the bottom of the bag. Don't really like that. Overall, I would recommend this for smaller or toy breeds.
