The Hillman 7/16 in.-14 Zinc Grade 8 Hex Nuts are to be used with machine bolts to adhere facing materials in order to prevent tension and shear movement. Parts are recommended for use in conjunction with washers and bolts of a similar finish to complete a secure fastener. Featuring a yellow dichromate zinc plating, these hex nuts offer moderate protection against rust and corrosion.
