Very reasonably price unit

Fully installed although one of the logs was missing a screw. And the remote is not working properly because it would turn on and then I wasn’t able to turn it off with the remote. I had to turn off the gas to the fireplace. Made a call and they sent whole package of logs. I don’t know why because I didn’t request it, and the remote they were supposed to be replacing never came. I had to make another call (of course all this is happening during the holiday) to have them actually send a remote. Now I’m waiting for that and hoping it actually works, and I’ll avoid another panic attack because the fire was not shutting off! The only other problem I have with it is the pilot light is down low to the floor so it’s hard for me to bend over to light the pilot. And the pilot light is quite big and evidently there’s no way to reduce it. I will update once I get the new remote that hopefully will work, but I like the style and the flames on the logs make them appear real. Very warm in the room as it puts out lots of heat. Exactly what I want in the event electricity that starts my furnace goes out. The battery remote fireplace will keep me warm! It would be nice if you could send a picture along with the review, but unfortunately there isn’t a place to do that
