Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable with one another. **There are a few exceptions: Our 60V 8.0Ah battery model 2957102 cannot be used in the following tools: any 60V 12" Snow Shovel, any 60V 22" Snow Blower, any 60V Tiller/Cultivator, or any 60V machine that has a battery port door or lid. Two 60V Required

I purchased this late spring. Used it all summer on a yard size of just shy of a half acre. I do not have any hills. I love the wheal size as it moves across the yard with ease. Plenty of power for all types of grass. However, I cannot get more than 20-25 minute runtime. I reported this to Greenworks and they stated the batterie is for UP TO 45 minutes runtime averaging UP TO 1/2 acre. I'm not sure but seems they consider anything between 1-45 minutes within their advertised time limits.
You really need to be prepared to mow when the conditions are best for the mower. This isn't compatible with my schedule or mother nature's. If I let the lawn go a day to 3 past perfect mowing height, the battery will not last. If it's also little damp, three charges may be required.
This mower needs to be sold with at least 2 batteries for lawns up to a half acre.
ProsConvenient, Easy to Use, Durable
No, I do not recommend this product.

No spare parts

No spare parts available in US or Canada. First my backpack sprayer died because a cheap runner 3/8ths tob1/4 inch adapter degraded and split. Then the switch in the handle to engage the blade motor on my 60v 21 inch mower failed

I have one acre including where the house sits… no way does this cover 2.5 acres. I’ve had it two seasons now and it’s not bad but if I had to do it again I would get something more powerful that could also handle tall grasses.

Not a 21 inch mower.

This is not a 21" mower, its a 20" mower. The blades are 20 inches long.
As with all cordless devices, the batteries are the Achilles heel here, providing only limited cutting time.
No, I do not recommend this product.
