Delivery Service Horrible

Was called for delivery and set it up for a Monday. I was told that I would get a delivery window. I waited all day and never received a call. I left my home for an appointment. Was called by the driver past 5pm. He said he would be there in 30 minutes. I said we needed to reschedule for tomorrow. He said he would line it up with the office. Tuesday came and still never received a call. Was directed to the office number and called them for an explanation. They said I was not on the delivery for today. They would deliver it tomorrow. I asked for a delivery window and received one. The next day the delivery driver showed up within the window. He informed me that we needed to look at the box because there were tears in it. Could not see the safe really and we took it off the truck. We unboxed it and found several nicks and a dent on the safe. Of course, he called it in and no recourse at all. I did take delivery because I had wasted 2 1/2 days and needed the safe. Never use this delivery service again and was charged almost 200 dollars for the delivery.

The Field and Stream gun safe is a mid-line security safe with an easily managed electronic combination lock and a well appointed interior that allows for adjustment of shelves. The interior is nicely finished with attractive carpeting. The benefit of having deep door storage with gun rack is offset by the loss of interior depth in the main cavity. I would prefer using the door storage for handguns and accessories only. Aside from this personal preference, this safe is well made and attractive and is an excellent value.

Nice safe just hate the dents

Very nice looking safe. It looks and feels well made for the price it a good buy. It is hard to get the outer row of guns positioned to get the doors to shut with-out hitting the door gun rack. Also got my safe home and put it in place, when I took the box off of it I noticed mice had chewed the plastic cover and urinated and defecated all in the box and on the safe but not in the safe. Cleaned that up and noticed a pretty good dent on the side and a small one under the door. I know the man that loaded it didn’t do it. He did a very good job of loading it in my truck. Just hate it’s brand new and has dents in it.
