Earth Science Moorganite All Purpose Fertilizer is an excellent all-purpose fertilizer for all types of plants. Made from recycled dairy cow and chicken manure, this is an all-natural, multi-purpose, slow release fertilizer. Our commitment to composting in the manufacturing process results in a highly bio-active and effective product. For best results on lawns, apply the fertilizer one to two times in the spring and one to two times in the fall when grass is actively growing. For gardens, mix into soil when preparing beds and make an additional application when buds form.

Works great, smells like manure for first few days but that clears quickly. Don't apply it right before the next barbecue!
It's slow release, which is how plants take in nutrients, so I find that it works very well.
Don't subject your pets and family to strong lawn chemicals, it is not worth that kind of risk.

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed in Moorganite by Earth Science. A key benefit to Moorganite is that it is made from dried dairy cow manure, and therefore biologically active with beneficial microbes that improve your soil. This benefit is not reflected in the NPK numbers but is substantial when it comes to soil/plant health.

Smells like chicken manure

It works great on the lawn and garden. I used a Scott’s Whiz spreader to apply and it was quick and easy. Everything is growing fast, and green. Better than Milorganite. One thing to watch for though, the dogs like the smell, and try to eat it.

It’s hard to find a natural, slow release, fertilizer that’s high in nitrogen. Most have unnecessary amounts of phosphate, even for garden use. Nitrogen is your friend, just learn to use the right amounts.
