Instructions are terrible

Pellets are huge and instructions indicate setting 5 for a Scotts spreader. I had to set the spreader to at least 10 or higher to drop pellets. Now, I'm not sure if I applied the right amount or if my lawn will burn to a crist and over acidify the lawn. I'll never buy again. Plus, Its expensive!
